Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

• Service — the website RoyalPet.app and all associated functionality
• User — any visitor or customer of the Service
• Portrait — the AI-generated Renaissance-style portrait of your pet
• Product — a digital download, fine art print or canvas print of a Portrait

2. Applicability

These terms apply to every use of the Service and to all agreements concluded through the Service. By using RoyalPet.app you agree to these terms.

3. The service

RoyalPet.app offers:

• Free AI generation of Renaissance portraits of your pet (5 per 30 days), shown as a watermarked preview
• Digital download of the portrait in high resolution and without a watermark (paid)

4. Prices and payment

• All prices are in euros and include VAT
• Payment is handled by Stripe. Which methods you see depends on your country: iDEAL, Bancontact, credit card, PayPal or Klarna
• After successful payment you will receive a confirmation by email

5. Delivery

• Digital download: available immediately after payment. The download link is valid for 7 days and is also sent by email.
• We deliver digitally only. No physical products are shipped.

6. Right of withdrawal

Under EU distance selling law you have the right as a consumer to return your order within 14 days of receipt without giving a reason.

• Digital downloads are exempt from the right of withdrawal once the download has started — you expressly agree to this at the time of purchase
• If something went wrong with your order, please get in touch; we always look for a suitable solution

7. Intellectual property

• The generated portrait is for personal use
• You may share the portrait on social media with a mention of RoyalPet.app
• Commercial use of the portrait is not permitted without written consent
• The website, the brand and all content of RoyalPet.app are the property of RoyalPet

8. Uploaded photos

• You warrant that you have the right to upload the photo
• Upload photos of your own pet only
• Uploaded photos are used solely for portrait generation
• Unpaid portraits are automatically deleted after 30 days

9. AI generation

Portraits are generated by artificial intelligence. The result may vary and depends on the quality of the uploaded photo. We do not guarantee a specific result. If you are not satisfied you can start a new generation free of charge, or contact us for a solution.

10. Liability

RoyalPet.app is not liable for indirect damage, consequential damage or damage caused by force majeure. Our liability is limited to the amount of the relevant order. We aim for continuous availability of the service, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

11. Disputes

Dutch law applies to these terms. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands. We aim to resolve disputes by mutual agreement first.
